Last Friday night, the Blind Pig experienced a packed house for a soulful and breathtaking performance from the indie-soul group known as Melt. To wrap up the first week of their international tour, Melt made a stop in Ann Arbor—and they were an absolute powerhouse.

Inspecting the Inspection

The energy present at the Ann Arbor stop of Cochise’s Inspection tour makes it a concert that you do not want to miss. Upon arrival, I found myself in a line easily over a block and a half long, surrounded by a crowd of people all there for one thing: fun.

The Lizzy McAlpine Experience

At seven pm on September 14th, you would not believe the number of people that fit inside downtown Detroit's tiny, but charming El Club. The line was wrapped around the entire building and even bled into neighboring streets. Around four hundred people were there to see one person: Lizzy McAlpine.
